A non-residential weekend of singing, sharing, practising and reconnecting

Have you taken part in one of Susie’s Sharing the Music Song Leader Trainings and would love the opportunity to come together again?
This relaxed, informal weekend is a chance to reconnect with fellow song leaders, revisit the songs and skills you’ve learned, and continue exploring the joy of sharing music with others.
We’ll spend time singing together, practising teaching songs, sharing experiences and learning from one another. There’ll be plenty of space to ask questions, explore anything you’d like more support with, and discover new insights as you continue on your song leading journey.
Whether you’ve been regularly leading singing groups or haven’t quite found your feet yet, this is an opportunity to build confidence, refresh your skills and be inspired by the collective wisdom of the group.
Above all, it’s a chance to enjoy being together again, surrounded by people who share your love of bringing voices together in song.

THE VENUE
The Angel Hall, Bowden House, Totnes, Devon, UK
Tucked away in the beautiful Devon countryside, The Angel Hall is a rather special place to gather and sing.
Set within the grounds of Bowden House, a historic Grade I listed manor house dating back to around 1509, the hall was originally the grand entrance hall to the house. It retains its beautiful ornate plasterwork ceiling and much of the character and charm of this historic building.
Today, it provides a welcoming space for singing, music and community gatherings.
It is just a 6-minute drive from Totnes High Street and train station, and had on-site parking.
FINDING ACCOMMODATION: This is a non-residential weekend, so you'll need to arrange your own accommodation. However, we'd love to make that as easy and affordable as possible. There's a campsite nearby, and we're also exploring the possibility of arranging some simple, reasonably priced accommodation with local people who are happy to offer a spare room or bed.
We'll share more details and suggestions as these arrangements come together, so please do get in touch if you'd like some help finding somewhere to stay.

LUNCH: We'll be sharing a relaxed, bring-and-share vegetarian lunch each day. You're very welcome to bring a vegetarian dish to share with the group, or simply bring your own lunch if you prefer. Either way, there'll be time to sit down together, enjoy some good food and continue the conversations!
